Fish is definitely costly these days. But and a big but. This site for me is essential. The fish is delicate and delicious. Good size portions. At a very reasonable price. Our fish pie mix is a carefully chosen combination of offcuts from the filleting of peat-smoked haddock, salmon and tuna, with a dash of cod here and there.
It’s a towering – not to mention economical – example of how the finest flavours can come from blending a number of different fish species. In this case, you get the saltiness and peatiness of smoked haddock, the smoothness of salmon and the meatiness of tuna, often with the creaminess of cod added to the mix.
We recommend using our mix as a starting point for your own interpretation of fish pie, allowing you to add your favourite ingredients and end up with a pie that warms the co*ckles and stuns the palate. Try cornichons, mustard, chives, parsley, boiled eggs, langoustines, scallops, a dash of vermouth, strong cheddar or parmesan, all topped off with a layer of buttery mashed potato.
Our smoked haddock and cod are landed in the North Sea. Our salmon comes from farms in the north and north-west of Scotland and our tuna is line caught in the Indian Ocean.

Fresh Fish Daily fish pie mix is best eaten as fresh as possible. Keep refrigerated between 0˚C and 5˚C and consume within three days of delivery. If freezing, do so on the day of delivery and consume within two months. We recommend defrosting overnight in the fridge.
How We Package Your Fish and Seafood
1. We vacuum pack fish portions in pairs and whole fish individually. Scallops are also vacuum packed, while oysters and lobsters are placed in a box.
2. Each portion is then clearly labelled with the species, who packed it, the date it was packed and a fresh use-by date.
3. We add frozen chill packs, which contain non-toxic gel, to a polystyrene box.
4. We pack your order so the chill packs distribute the cold evenly throughout your fish and seafood, ensuring maximum freshness.
5. We seal the box with packing tape and hand it to our courier, who will deliver it to you within 24 hours.

We work with APC Direct and deliver anywhere on the UK mainland where 24-hour delivery is available.

Our delivery days are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Due to the nature of the fresh fish supply chain and to ensure you receive the freshest possible fish and seafood at an affordable price, we do not deliver on Sunday, Monday or Tuesday.

We deal with a range of suppliers, including fish markets in north-east Scotland and reputable aquaculture businesses on the north-west coast of Scotland and in East Lothian. Freshness and quality mean everything to us and we only engage with partners who share our values.
