  12. Shelbyville Central High SchoolBedford County, TN•9-12•Rating 3.71 out of 5 104 reviewsSenior: The best parts of my experience at Shelbyville Central High School come from my involvement in the band and the marching band. Since the eighth grade I have been apart of the high school marching band and I have been to many competitions and I have made many memories. Now as a senior of the band and a two-time drum captain, I get to watch and ensure my underclassman get those same or even better memories. The worst part about going to Shelbyville Central are the other students. I’m not bullied, but people just lack basic human kindness and any common sense to guide them. I wouldn’t change much, if anything , about this school, but if I would, it would be the available resources to expand upon my knowledge and preparation for college and real life. Schools in general do not teach kids how to live and be successful, they teach them how to work for others and just a little bit more of a push would be nice to set up smarter generations to lead us forward....
